Following discussions with colleagues from across the field, TOCG is offering low-cost consulting options designed to help you prepare for the year ahead. These engagements will contain one-on-one working sessions with senior members of our team (former Chief Executives, Chief Marketers, and Chief Fundraisers), as well as thought partnership in reviewing your key strategies and planning documentation. Starting at $USD5,000, we can tailor these offerings to your specific needs. We are aware that this model may still be cost-prohibitive for small organizations, and we continue to explore ways to provide free and low-cost services to the field.

 

Budget Storytelling & Budget Planning

Designed for Executive Leaders
With new challenges facing non profit arts organizations following pandemic closures, crafting an annual budget is likely to be a from-the-ground-up project. Assumptions based on past performance are still foundational, but are likely to be surrounded with more question marks than they used to be and that means that your budget needs more context for understanding and buy-in. In a series of working sessions, our team will help you frame the story of your annual budget to crucial stakeholders (staff, board, funders) to ensure you receive the support you need to move forward.

Designed for Executive Leaders
This five-session consultation is specifically designed to support executive leadership, senior development officers, and/or board chairs, as you seek to invigorate and re-energize your boards for the possibilities and obstacles that lie ahead. It can also address the common need to transition the Board’s focus from crisis management to planning and building for the future. A proactive, forward-thinking, and engaged board is one of the keys to sustainable success, and these sessions will help you to motivate and empower your board.

As arts organizations have sought to rebuild audiences post-pandemic, marketing strategies and resourcing have necessarily needed to shift. Drawing on our extensive experience as in-house marketers and consultants to organizations large and small, our team will work with marketing leadership across a series of sessions aimed at how best to allocate budgets and team resources to reach attendance and revenue goals in 2024.
